ABOUT US
How Most Clients Reach Us
Most new clients find us through a referral from someone we’ve already worked with. After that, the most common way people reach out is by calling us directly, followed by a smaller number who submit a request through this website. However you reach us, you’ll talk to someone who can actually answer your questions — not a generic intake line.
If you’re calling about an active emergency outside our regular business hours, our 24/7 emergency line ensures someone is available around the clock.

WHY CHOOSE US
What Happens After You Reach Out
We Respond Quickly
Most inquiries get a response the same business day. If you call directly, you'll speak with a real person right away.
We Ask the Right Questions
Before quoting anything, we want to understand your property, your priorities, and any existing systems already in place. This usually means a short phone conversation and, for most projects, a site visit.
We Provide a Clear, Upfront Quote
No vague estimates. You'll know what's included, what it costs, and what to expect before any work begins.
We Schedule Around Your Operations
Commercial and industrial properties can't always shut down for installation work. We plan projects around your business hours and operational needs wherever possible.
We Stay Reachable After Installation
Once your system is live, you're not on your own. Our regular business line and 24/7 emergency line remain available for support, troubleshooting, and future upgrades.

Why Clients Keep Coming Back
FAQ's
Frequently asked questions
What's the fastest way to reach Kraken Security?
Call 403-879-6071. We always answer the phone, and for new inquiries, a direct call is usually the fastest way to get a response.
What are your regular business hours?
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Outside those hours, our 24/7 emergency service line is available for urgent issues.
How quickly will I get a quote after contacting you?
Most clients receive an initial response the same business day. A formal quote typically follows a brief consultation and, for most projects, an on-site assessment.
Do I need to know exactly what equipment I want before contacting you?
No. Most clients start with a general problem they want solved — knowing who enters a building, catching break-in attempts, replacing an outdated system — and we help determine the right equipment from there.
Can you provide a quote without visiting my property?
For smaller or more straightforward projects, sometimes. For most commercial and industrial systems, an on-site visit ensures the quote reflects your property’s actual layout and requirements.
Is there a charge for a quote or consultation?
No, initial consultations and quotes are free.
What information should I have ready when I call?
It helps to know your property type, approximate size, number of entry points (if relevant to access control), and any existing security equipment already on-site. If you don’t have all of this, that’s fine — we’ll work through it together.
Do you service systems that another company installed?
In many cases, yes. Let us know what equipment is currently in place and we’ll assess whether we’re able to maintain, repair, or upgrade it.
Do you serve businesses outside of Calgary?
Yes. In addition to Calgary, we regularly serve Airdrie, Chestermere, Strathmore, Okotoks, Bragg Creek, Balzac, and Cochrane. If your property is outside these areas, contact us — we may still be able to help depending on the scope of the project.
What counts as an emergency for the 24/7 line?
Situations like a triggered alarm with no clear cause, a access control system failure that’s locking staff out of a building, or a CCTV system going offline unexpectedly are the kinds of issues our emergency line is built for. If you’re unsure whether your situation qualifies, call — we’d rather confirm it’s not urgent than have you wait until morning on something that is.
What to Expect During Installation
Planning Around Your Business
One of the most common concerns commercial clients raise is disruption. Security installation work, especially for access control and structured cabling, can involve cutting into walls, running cable through ceilings, and working near entry points your staff and visitors use every day.
We address this by scoping the work in advance and scheduling around your operational hours wherever possible. For multi-tenant buildings, that often means coordinating with property management to notify tenants ahead of time. For industrial sites, it usually means working around shift schedules and equipment access requirements. You’ll know what to expect before installation day arrives, not on the morning of.
